All plants are different, just like us. There can, and will be, differences in color, size, growth, and maturity. We will always do our best in sourcing and growing the highest quality plants for you, but there definitely will be variations. Uniqueness in nature is a beautiful thing!

Hoya carnosa 'Compacta Variegata' has the same twisted, waxy leaves and vining growth habit as the classic Rope Hoya. However, the foliage is edged with creamy white and pink variegation, with entire stems occasionally emerging pure pink or white. Sometimes called by one of its nicknames, Variegated Hindu Rope Hoya or Variegated Indian Rope Hoya, it makes an excellent hanging plant because the rope-like vines of foliage naturally cascade as they grow long. Eventually, lovely clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers may emerge between the leaves.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Perfect for bright, indirect light
• Water: Drought tolerant. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry to the touch
• Considerations: Use a well-draining soil, and select a planter with drainage. Pet friendly!
WHAT TO EXPECT
2IN SHORT ROPE: 1 SINGLE ROPE PER POT, EACH ROPE IS ABOUT 2IN IN LENGTH
4IN POT SHORT ROPES: 2-3 ROPES PER POT, EACH ROPE IS ABOUT 2-3IN IN LENGTH
4IN POT LONG ROPE: 1 ROPE PER POT, EACH ROPE IS ABOUT 8-10IN IN LENGTH
It is about 1 year difference in growing between a short 2in rope and a long 8-10in rope since variegated hindu rope is growing really slow
You'll get a healthy Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' that meets our rigorous quality standards in your choice of a short rope or long rope – ceramic pot is sold separately. No two plants are alike, and yours will have its own unique shape, size and personality; expect this natural variation from the photos.
Our plants include detailed care instructions as well as our Houseplant Best Practices guide, with information on how to repot, seasonal care and more!
